Created by User:Lingie, the Sunset Bar is a world project created by User:Riney, with assistance from Jayden_420G, KillFrenzy, Aries, Ittybee, and wolfcry91197. The project for The Sunset Bar was started on April 19th, 2023, and was published to Community Labs August 21st, 2023. Sunset Bar cleared Community Labs on August 23rd, 2023.
As of the time of this article, the world has surpassed 12 million visits, and 127,000 favorites. (June 8th, 2025.)
Description
The Sunset Bar is decorated in a combination of orange, blue, and hot pink. These are three foundation colors for the Synthwave aesthetic, and are featured around the entire world, unless events are happening. (Notable, Christmas features a combination of red, green, and gold for reference.)
Sunset is located inside of Duskview City, a fictional and sprawling dystopian megalopolis, that hearkens to themes of cyberpunk like ideas, as well as maintaining a synthwave aesthetic all around. The world spawn has the user standing outside of the main building, which sits below an old apartment complex. Surrounding the player is a set of five towering buildings, each blocking vision to anything but the sky and the street itself.
